Dia App to Suspend Key Services During System Upgrade on January 24-25.
Changes to State Electronic Services
According to TSN.ua: A technical upgrade of the Unified Information System for the Social Sphere will cause temporary disruptions to several services on the Dia portal and mobile application from January 24 to 25. This maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to modernize Ukraine's digital government infrastructure.
During this period, users will be unable to access the following services:
- Applying for or canceling certificates for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs),
- Updating the actual place of residence for IDPs,
- Submitting applications for comprehensive aid for IDPs,
- Applying for basic social assistance.
Furthermore, the Dia web portal will not process applications related to child adoption. This includes submitting or renewing candidate status for adoption, scheduling adoption consultations, or withdrawing from the adoption registry.
Launch of the "Obriy" Pilot Project
Concurrently, the pilot project "Obriy" (Horizon) is being launched. Its goal is to integrate services from Employment Centers with the Dia portal, aiming to streamline access for citizens. However, all the services listed above will remain unavailable on the specified dates during the system transition.
The upgrade of the Unified Information System is a significant step in enhancing Ukraine's digital public services, as it will enable new functionalities and improve coordination between state agencies. While the "Obriy" project paves the way for future service development, users should plan around this temporary outage, which may affect their immediate needs and schedules.
