Partnership Aims to Boost Healthcare Services

According to TSN.ua: With the introduction of a new diagnostic system, doctors can now monitor heart rhythm and blood pressure over 24 to 48 hours, greatly improving the detection of health issues in children. The equipment was provided through a collaboration between the pharmacy chain 'Apteka 9-1-1' and the charitable foundation 'Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood'. This initiative marks one of the first joint efforts following the signing of a memorandum between the two partners.

Supporting Children's Hospitals

The primary goal of this partnership is to assist children's hospitals across Ukraine, which are currently facing numerous challenges. The team from 'Apteka 9-1-1' has already supported 16 orphanages nationwide. As part of this effort, 300 children wrote letters to Saint Nicholas, and 10 orphanages hosted New Year celebrations for 655 children. Additionally, 1,000 children from 14 regions of Ukraine received oral hygiene kits.

“This diagnostic system is extremely important to us,” emphasized Anna Kuka.

Valentyna Yovenko noted that “helping the most vulnerable populations is one of our company’s top priorities.” This initiative represents a significant step forward in improving medical care for children in Ukraine, especially given the current challenges faced by healthcare facilities.

The collaboration between 'Apteka 9-1-1' and the 'Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood' foundation serves as a powerful example of corporate social responsibility and active engagement in addressing healthcare issues. At a time when Ukrainian medical institutions are experiencing resource shortages, the new equipment can substantially enhance the efficiency of diagnosing and treating children, which is critical for improving their quality of life.

Additional support from the company and the foundation could lay the groundwork for further initiatives aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s medical infrastructure.
