According to TSN.ua: Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy, has called on fuel market operators to refrain from raising prices amidst a climate of public anxiety. He stressed the need for corporate social responsibility during wartime, arguing that companies must consider not only their economic interests but also the needs of society.

As of this morning, the price for A-95 gasoline ranges from 63.99 to 73.99 UAH per liter. A-100 gasoline is selling for between 78.99 and 80.99 UAH per liter, while diesel fuel prices vary from 63.99 to 73.99 UAH per liter. For context, fuel prices in Germany have now surpassed 2.4 euros per liter, indicating a broader trend of rising costs across Europe. Filling a 50-liter tank at some German stations can cost nearly 124 euros.

Analysis of the Fuel Market Situation

Hetmantsev stated: "Business has the right to earn a profit, but during a war, large companies must also consider their social responsibility."

Expert Serhii Kuiun confirmed that a gradual price increase has indeed occurred. He clarified, however, that "the current price hike is not typical for this time of year and is driven exclusively by the Middle Eastern factor." He noted that industry colleagues understand the problem and are working on a solution, adding that "the work of any state mechanism within the legal framework is not swift, but the outcome is inevitable."
