The artist announced this on her Instagram. In her post, Conchita Wurst mentioned that she values the importance of the contest, as it significantly influenced her life. However, she decided to step away from 'Eurovision' to focus on other projects and put effort into their development.

She commented on her decision

'From now on I am stepping away from the context of 'Eurovision'. I am moving towards focusing more on other professional projects and allowing new things to develop,' the singer says.

Conchita Wurst also reported that while 'Eurovision' was an important part of her life, fans will no longer see her on the stage of this competition or at related events. The artist considers this decision 'personal' and does not plan to give more comments on its details.

'My connection with 'Eurovision' remains as part of my story, not as a place for my next steps. My decision is personal, and I will not comment on it further,' the singer concluded.
