Russia Launches Massive Drone Assault on Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: On March 26, Russian forces carried out extensive drone attacks across several Ukrainian regions, causing widespread destruction and numerous casualties. The assaults targeted civilian areas and infrastructure, with strikes reported in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Kherson regions.
Impact and Casualties
In Dnipro, a residential high-rise building was damaged by the attack. As of 10:30 AM local time, at least six people were reported injured. Oleksandr Hanzha commented on the situation:
“The enemy is attacking Dnipro. A high-rise building has been damaged. Preliminary reports indicate there are casualties.” – Oleksandr Hanzha
In the Kharkiv region, the strikes killed two people and left 17 others wounded. Mykola Lukashuk stated:

In Sumy region, over 110 shelling incidents hit 43 settlements, severely damaging local infrastructure. In Kherson, three people were injured, highlighting the ongoing threat to civilians. Oleh Syniehubov reported that a 65-year-old man was wounded in the attack, suffering from blast injuries. Oleksiy Kuleba also noted damage to several locomotives, indicating strikes on industrial targets.
The situation remains critical, with residents enduring the consequences of continuous hostilities. In Dnipropetrovsk region, the city center has been described as “hellish,” while in Kharkiv, there is an ongoing “hunt” for civilians, resulting in daily losses. Southern and central Ukraine have seen strikes on ports and locomotives, while Sumy and Kherson regions have experienced hundreds of shellings and destroyed hospitals.
