TOP-5 professions of the future in Ukraine: what children will choose.
According to ТСН: Despite the war, Ukrainians continue to dream about the future, especially regarding their children's prospects — where they should aim and what they should become. Experts believe that the job market will inevitably change, so it is important to be ready for these changes.
It is clear that military and medical professions will remain in demand due to the situation in the country. However, specialists are confident that jobs will also be available for IT experts, humanitarians, and builders. Professions such as ecologists, agronomists, engineers, architects, microbiologists, and chemists will also have new prospects.

“Timeless” professions: who will remain despite artificial intelligence?
In Ukraine, there are “timeless” professions that may persist but with new technical means.
“I believe that we hardly can replace doctors, teachers, and perhaps engineers with anyone or anything. Yes, perhaps there will be an intervention of artificial intelligence or automation in these professions, but I think that by the time this happens, these specialists will still be quite active,”— emphasizes the expert.
For example, teachers may teach children remotely, and medicines in pharmacies may possibly be sold by robots using artificial intelligence.
“I believe that anything related to production, artificial intelligence cannot take away from us yet,”— believes Pashkina.
Creativity and “the golden mean”: who is threatened by transformation?
The expert notes that creative professions may undergo changes. There will be a shift from traditional creators to those who manage creativity tools.
“But at the same time, I believe we have already had enough of all those beautiful pictures in social networks produced by artificial intelligence,”— she noted.
Aging population and “silver economy”: new niches in the market
New professions related to optimization and interaction with artificial intelligence are emerging in Ukraine.
“It is possible that they will become the new target audience,”— emphasizes Pashkina.
Digitalization vs. craftsmanship: market stratification
When discussing the professions of the future, it is important to consider digitalization and craftsmanship.
“There is a sharp stratification of the labor market,”— comments the expert.
Lifelong Learning: why changing professions will become the norm
Parents should prepare their children for the fact that they will have to learn throughout their lives.
“It is simply a ‘professional reincarnation’ that happens several times in a lifetime,”— notes Pashkina.
Jobs will find candidates on their own
Changing professions will become the norm for society:
“The situation where a person has ‘lived through’ several professional lives will become normal,”— says the expert.
Prospects: live long and search for work
People's professional lives will lengthen due to the aging population.
“Therefore, in the new generations, the professional path will be long,”— summarizes the expert.
In the context of constant changes in the labor market, Ukrainians must be ready for new challenges that modernity will pose. This includes both adapting to new professions and the necessity of continuous learning. All these elements point to the importance of flexibility and openness to new things in professional activities.
