Natalka Karpa bids farewell to her military husband: their daughter made a heart in the window.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian singer Natalka Karpa evoked emotions by telling about her daughter’s farewell to her military father, who is returning to the front.
Her husband, Yevhen Terekhov, serves in the army, but managed to break away for the New Year holidays and spend 15 days with family. Natalka noted that at first they needed to adapt to their time together, and then they started giving each other what they had been missing so much: hugs, communication, meetings. Time flew by quickly, and Yevhen had to return to service again. Their little daughter Zlata woke up early in the morning to see her dad off.
“To say it was sad is to say nothing at all… 15 days together, first adapting, then making up for what had been lacking for so long – hugs, communication, warmth, reflections, meetings with friends and family… And just when you start to taste it, voila – we’re back to reality!”
Natalka finds it especially hard that her daughter has to say goodbye to her dad again. When the singer went to see her husband off, Zlata woke up her grandparents so that they could lift her onto the windowsill to say goodbye to her dad. The artist admits that moments like these are extraordinarily difficult.
“Such moments just break into pieces, into molecules, scattering your consciousness… I went to see Jacky (her husband – ed.) outside, and Zlata quickly ran to the bedroom to her grandparents, woke them up and asked them to lift her to the window so she could 'make a heart' for daddy,”
We cannot overlook another important news: military dancer Dmytro Dikusar, who serves at the front, recently visited Kyiv on vacation and appeared in public for the first time in a long while.
Farewells and meetings with loved ones are always an emotional process, especially when it comes to military personnel. Touching moments of family interaction highlight the depth of the situation in which Ukraine found itself. Memories of brief moments of happiness become important during wartime, as they reveal the true value of family bonds and support.
