Massive Russian Nighttime Assault Targets Odesa Region
According to TSN.ua: In a large-scale nighttime offensive on February 3, Russian forces struck the Odesa region, damaging both energy and civilian infrastructure. The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, confirmed the attack, which resulted in power outages for more than 50,000 residents. This attack is part of a wider Russian campaign targeting Ukraine's energy grid, particularly during the winter months.
The overnight strikes caused damage to:
- Three residential buildings
- Warehouse and administrative structures
- Passenger vehicles
Authorities reported no casualties from the assault. Critical infrastructure facilities continue to operate using backup generators. The explosions were audible not only in the Odesa region but also in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Sumy.

The attack impacted dozens of populated areas, including:

- Konotop
- Sloviansk
- Brovary
This assault represents a further escalation in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
